TASK

The task for our final project is to recall what we learnt from project 1 and 2 and further develop into a journey with space expressing different emotions and feelings after identifying the dominant theme and narratives.

OBJECTIVES

To explore how the selection and application of materials in relation to the sensory experience of space. To be able to select and make different study models (sketch, concept, diagram, section and development models).

PROGRESS

The design intention for this project consists of 3 sector with different emotions. To express these emotions I have my first sector to express the emotion of enclose by giving limited space and light source. Next, I have my second sector to express unpleasant by making the occupant move in a certain in order to go across, ergonomics heavily comes in play in that sector. For my last sector is an expression of freedom by allowing all air and light source gather in an area for the user to be rewarded by allowing plenty of space to do it's final banal action which is "laying".

REFLECTION

From my final project, I learned about how a space is able to interact with the user from each space to another like a journey and how it can easily affect someone's emotions.  I also learnt about new joints and joineries that connects different construction materials together.
